first_img Randy Eugene Ramsey WhatsApp WhatsApp Pinterest Twitter Local NewsCrime Two charged with possession after traffic stop A traffic stop Wednesday morning in West Odessa led to the driver and passenger being charged after suspected methamphetamine was found in the vehicle, an Ector County Sheriff’s Office press release said.The stop was made around 1 a.m. Wednesday near University Boulevard and Mercury Avenue, the release detailed, due to a traffic violation.Deputies charged the driver, 30-year-old Cassi Jo Rincon, with possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony, and carrying an unlicensed weapon, a class A misdemeanor, after suspected methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia, as well as a pair of brass knuckles and multiple outstanding warrants, the release stated.Rincon also had two warrants issued from Andrews County for possession of a controlled substance and a fugitive from justice charge, jail records show.
