Coronavirus tests for the rest of the Alavés staff

first_imgEl Alavés announced last Saturday two cases of positive coronaviruses within the medical-sports body. Today, the test has been carried out on soccer players, coaches, assistants and employees, but initially, until tomorrow, the results will not be made public. Baskonia players, belonging to the same company, have also been subjected to the same tests. On the other hand, the entity has donated numerous medical supplies to the Txagorritxu hospital: gowns, gloves, hats and masks to reinforce the fight against Covid-19. They are usually single use and right now they are not needed at the club because the activity is stopped. Better in the hospital. It is also aware of the possible departure of American players after the order issued by Donald Trump that all American citizens pack their bags and return home. In Baskonia it seems a convoluted option but it should not be ruled out if, for example, competitions are permanently suspended. Henry, Christon and Janning are of that nationality. At the Enras women’s Araski league, Shakobia Barbee has already terminated her contract and gone home today. In the first official match played by each Alavés team there will be a tribute to Alava health. The shirts will wear front and back OSI Araba, which brings together hospitals and outpatient clinics in the province. The population is increasingly sensitized to the work of health professionals.last_img read more

Castle Grove bring a taste of France to Donegal

first_imgIn this week’s column from Castle Grove Country House Hotel Letterkenny, the team look back on their successful wine pairing evening and look ahead to seasonal delights to come:A little taste of France in Donegal: Here at Castle Grove we’re still riding high on the success of our Bordeaux Wine Pairing evening which took place in the house on Saturday past. A very sincere thank you or indeed ‘merci’ goes out to everyone who was there on the night to pay homage to the very finest wines of the infamous Bordeaux region while enjoying Castle Grove’s own award winning food. The evening got off to a pop with a glass of sparkling crémant on arrival to each guest who was then free to explore the house and get into the spirit of Bordeaux. The dining room was dressed in all its splendour for the evening and it was those little finishing touches that our guests felt created the atmosphere that set the night apart.Bordeaux Wine Pairing event at Castle Grove Country House HotelBordeaux Wine Pairing event at Castle Grove Country House HotelBordeaux Wine Pairing event at Castle Grove Country House HotelFlawless Service and Excellent FoodThey had been promised seven courses of expertly chosen dishes on the evening, and Chef Brady exceeded himself by producing eight dishes to a filled dining room.
